Teaching is for one-on-one or small-group speaking coaching. The App and this help both call the space Teaching.
Where it is
Me → Switch spaces → Teaching. Before it is opened, the Teaching row shows Open; afterwards it shows Active.
Steps
- Sign in with the teacher’s main account (email, Google, or LINE)—not a learner’s account + PIN.
- Go to Me → Switch spaces and tap Open on Teaching.
- Once it is open, manage learners under Me → Teaching.
- Add learner accounts.
- Assign tasks and plans.
Good fit / not a fit
| Good fit | Not a fit (see What Teaching does not include) |
|---|---|
| One-on-one or small-group speaking practice | Large class grade books or school management systems |
| Tasks, plans, practice summaries, and minute allocation | Official exam rooms or bulk institution-level administration |
Keep in mind
- Teaching is for coaching learners; Family is for parents and children.
- Keep the two spaces separate. Don’t add your own children as learners in Teaching.
If…
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| You are only a parent | Open Family instead; you don’t need Teaching. See Open Family space |
| You need school-wide administration | That is outside DodoTalk. See What Teaching does not include |
