A child account lets a child sign in and practise on their own, while blocking risky actions. After you add a child in Me → Family, you get an ID and a PIN (at least 4 digits; follow the App), not an email address.
Why it exists
- The child can speak on their own without sharing the parent’s email and password.
- The parent keeps proxy view, minute allocation, and making and starting plans.
What a child can and usually cannot do
| Usually can | Usually cannot |
|---|---|
| Sign in to the App and practise | Delete the account |
| Do tasks and see their own Progress | Invite others or switch spaces |
| Practise from active plans and tasks | Sign in to a child or learner account with LINE |
| Live pair practice with a parent (both agree) | Buy points or change billing |
What the child sees in Me
After signing in, the child’s Me tile shows read-only info such as Practice left (allocated by the parent or granted by the platform). The child cannot buy anything or change billing.
Parent side
- Add the child in the Family space and set the ID and PIN.
- Give the child the ID and PIN (never the parent’s main account password).
- Allocate minutes, make and start plans, and check progress. See Parent proxy view.
If…
- Cannot sign in: check the ID and PIN, the PIN length, and that you are in the App (not LINE).
- Mixed up with a learner account: learner accounts belong to the Teaching space. See Learner accounts.
- Forgot the PIN: the parent resets it in the Family space (follow the App).
