Plan types

How Exam prep, Single skills, Scenario practice, and Other differ — what you practise, whether materials are needed, and where you practise each day.

When you make an AI plan, you pick a plan type first. The type decides what you practise, whether you need materials, and where you practise each day.

Where it is

Space → Plans → AI plan, at the top: Plan type.

The four types

TypeWhat you practiseMaterialsWhere you practise each day
Exam prepVocabulary, listening, and speaking items for your target examNeeded (My materials)Learn → Today
Single skillsOnly the vocabulary / listening / speaking items you pickNeeded (My materials)Learn → Today

Steps

  1. Pick a type. For Single skills, choose at least one under Skills to practise.
  2. For Exam prep and Single skills, choose the exam and level. The app checks whether My materials cover it.
  3. Generate, review, save to Not started, then tap Start.

Exam prep and Single skills have no speaking steps

These two types do not lay out plan steps. The learning system schedules each day from My materials, and you practise under Today. When all the vocabulary, listening, and speaking items are done, the plan can be completed.

Scenario practice and Other have Plan steps. Each step is one speaking session and appears in Practice tasks with the tag “Plan · Speaking”.
